RL Reader of the Week: Faye Marcos

Our RL Reader of the Week is Faye Marcos. Faye lives in a high-rise condo unit in Mandaluyong.

Real Living (RL): When did you start reading Real Living?

Faye: I haven't always been interested in interior decorating or home improvement in general, but after I was left to my own devices to work on my new condo in 2014, I started collecting different magazines for inspiration.

I started with back issues of different magazines but always ended up buying the latest issues of RL. I found it to be the most useful and practical among all of the materials that I collected.

RL: What is your favorite Real Living article and section?

Faye: I loved Beam Mariano's shabby chic 30sqm condo in the June 2013 issue. It gave me a good idea on how someone with an eye for design can transform a space on her own. It made me want to check out Uniwide Warehouse, too!

Real Makeover is my favorite section because it shows that small changes can lead to big improvements.

RL:  What is the biggest lesson that you have learned from Real Living?

Faye: No matter how small a space is, as long as it has personality and is well-organized, it can still be beautiful!
