Let it Snow!

Who knew that magical snow globes are so easy to make? Clean an old glass jar and spray paint the lid with a holiday color like gold. Use waterproof epoxy to stick plastic toys to the inner lid. Fill the jar with distilled water almost to the top. Add a pinch of glitter and a small capful of glycerin. The glycerin will make the glitter fall more slowly to mimic snowfall. Screw on the lid carefully tight. Turn it over and back again to let it snow.

Oh, Christmas Tree

Create a new look for this holiday favorite by giving it a fashionable metallic sheen. Simply take a small Christmas tree (or wreath) and coat the leaves with spray adhesive. Spoon glitter over the leaves and shake off the excess. You can keep it plain or add some trimmings.

Deck the Balls

Use glitter to give plain Christmas balls a brand new look. Cut out patterns or letters on double-sided tape and attach these carefully to the ball. Remove the paper backing to reveal the sticky side of the tape. Roll the ball in glitter, shake off the excess, and use the pieces to decorate your space.

Fruit Magic

Dress up your holiday table with a sparkling fruit and nut centerpiece. Paint plastic fruits and nuts with watered-down glue. Roll these in glitter and let dry. Place in clear glass containers on your dining table.

Grown-up Stockings

Why not make grown-up stockings for the grown-ups in the family? Customize old stockings with Christmas decor, shiny baubles, and glitter glue pens.

Flash Cards

Spruce up store-bought Christmas cards with glitter! Simply choose shapes that you want to highlight, cover it with glue, and sprinkle glitter over it. Shake the glitter off and scribble your dedication on the card.
