Q: I want my home to look bright and airy. What color would be best for my walls if most of my furniture pieces are brown. Right now, my walls are painted white, but I find the look too boring. —Fe Manalansan
A:Â I'm a fan of the color combination of powder blue, light green, white, and brown. I've been using it a lot and I love how the light colors brighten up and balance out the room when mixed with dark brown or wooden furniture.
Try Mellow Mood (B39-3), which is a light blue, or Prairie Splendor (B32-4), a light green, both by Ace Paints.Â
