Q: My sister just got back from Nepal and she gave me an orange, rectangular cloth with beadwork as her pasalubong. I want to use it to cheer up my tiny condo, but it is too heavy. I could not even hold it up for a long time. Is there a way to hang it inconspicuously without damaging my wall? - Farrah GutierrezÂ
A: Because your fabric is heavy, you may need something that can carry the weight. Why not try installing a curtain rod with rings that have clips on them? This way, you can showcase the fabric without damaging the wall or the fabric itself.
Another option would be to sew loops onto the top or attaching a rectangular piece at the back of the fabric to insert the rod through. Then, you can easily take it down when it needs to be cleaned.
