The 2021 Pantone Color of The Year Is Actually a Combination With a Beautiful Message
Light and shadow.

PANTONE 17-5104 Ultimate Gray + PANTONE 13-0647 Illuminating, two contrasting colors are 2021's Color of the Year. While you're probably used to having a singular pick yearly, recent events have inspired 2021's choices, which has a beautiful message.
"The union of an enduring Ultimate Gray with the vibrant yellow Illuminating expresses a message of positiviy supported by fortitude," says Executive Director of The Pantone Color Institute Leatrice Eiseman. "Practical and rock solid but at the same time warming and optimistic, this is a color combination that gives us resilience and hope. We need to feel encourage and uplifted; this is essential to the human spirit.
Ultimate Gray may not be your first pick when it comes to sprucing up your room, but it's actually a great base for colorful fixtures and accents; paired with Illuminating, this duo can go for a tropical vibe when combined with Pantone's Skydiver, Peacock Blue, Fruit Dove, and Cloud Dancer to form Pantone's color set "Aviary."
For an earthier feel, you go can for "Sun and Shadow" by putting them together with Blue Nights, Wild Ginger, Oil Green, and Shadow Green.
