Must-See: A Homeowner in Singapore Takes Green Living Seriously
There's no need to keep off the grass in this house!
Singapore may be a tiny speck on the map but it is one of the busiest places in the world. Just think about the shopping haunts and business establishments found in the Lion City! While there are a handful of green parks where you can stop and meditate, most parts of this island-country are already pretty modernized. Is it still possible to build a home that completely embraces nature?

Located in The House at Trevose Place, a lush area of Singapore, this special home aims to bring the outdoors inside.
Built around a courtyard and a swimming pool, the home consists of three floors and is surrounded by grass. There is a pathway around the façade, large windows and sliding doors to incorporate natural lighting, and a veranda that continues all the way to the rooftop lawn.
The architects from AD Lab tried to capture the essence of nature by adding elements of water for movement and green grass for tranquility.
