Must-See: A Couple Made a Real-Life Replica of the Simpsons' Kitchen

This space will make Homer fans go Woo Hoo!

It may seem like a strange idea to renovate a part of your home and turn it into setting of a cartoon show, but for Canadian couple Marchia Andreychuk and Joel Hamilton, it was a DIY dream come true.

The two have decided to revamp their kitchen in clashing pastel and neon hues to look like exactly like Marge Simpon's in "The Simpsons."

From the corn cob curtains (which Andreychuk sewed herself) down to the checkerboard floor tiles, they did everything they can to bring the ficitonal space to life.

After being featured on Buzzfeed in August last year, the couple also got the attention of "The Simpsons" creators. In an episode titled "Barthood," a hockey announcer mentioned Andreychuk and Hamilton as the names of two players.

Today, the couple's project in their Calgary home is finally complete after a year of work. They have added all finishing touches including Marge's green utensils, purple toaster, and Homer's starbust wall clock.
