Jumpstart Your Day: A 420-Square Foot Apartment with 6 Functional Rooms
Space-saving furniture and a well-thought-out floor plan make this home one-of-a-kind
When treehugger.com founder Graham Hill acquired this apartment, everything seems to be in disarray. With a vision of using the space to showcase tiny living, he outsourced the design as a competition which received around 300 entries. Two Romanian architecture students and their "One Size Fits All" design won. The result is a well-designed apartment that highlights the functionality of a 1,100-square feet space. Known as the LifeEdited apartment, it is tied to Hill's idea of life editing -- he believes that if you edit your stuff, space, and even friends, you can have more money, health, and happiness. See the remarkable transformation and the hidden rooms found in this inspiring small space.(faircompanies.com)
