Jumpstart Your Day: 5 Photos That Prove Yellow is Perfect for the Bathroom

It's like a ray of sunshine that will perk up your day

If you think about it, it's quite uncommon to see yellow walls, tiles, and accessories in the bathroom. The reasons may vary but we can only guess that many would rather have an all-white or neutral-colored T&B or that some may think that it's a bit too bright for the space.

For those looking for something out of the ordinary, you may want to consider giving yellow a chance. Since many of us go straight to the bathroom after waking up, a splash of color can bring us to our senses and prep us for another long day:

Work with light yellow shade for the walls, a white door, and wooden flooring. These touches will give your space a country feel and make it even more relaxing. Complete the look with white bath fixtures and yellow towels.

Achieve a refreshing vibe in the bathroom without spending much! Gather old jars and bottles and clean each carefully. Shop for lovely blooms with yellow flowers that you can put on display. Some of the picks that we have in mind include—Chrysanthemums, Marigold, and Yellow Hydrangeas.

RL Tip: Make sure your blooms get the sunlight they need by placing it by the window. Another option would be to create paper flowers using yellow art paper! Click here for a step-by-step guide.

Create a statement by going all out! Brighten up a tiny bathroom with yellow walls and mosaic tiles. Keep the cabinets and counter white and choose a cream-colored rug to match it.

RL Tip: Achieve an illusion of wider space by adding stripes on one wall. Choose colors that work well with yellow! In this case, it's a combo of white and apple green.

Yellow also works with touches of wood and vintage elements. If you're fond of collecting vintage-inspired pieces and secondhand finds, use it as decor in your private space. Pair it with wooden catchalls, shelves, and a small side table that can hold your toiletries.

For a classic and subtle touch, you may choose to paint the ceiling of your bathroom with a light yellow shade that's reminiscent of the sun's rays. If you have a window in the room, you can also paint the frame in a similar hue to create a seamless look.
