Create an inviting corner where you can enjoy a read or two

Some of us love to read books and magazines before going to sleep. This is also ideal when it's too early to sleep and you need to help you body wind down. If you already have a space in your bedroom where you can create your reading corner, here are 4 must-dos that may just help you create a cozy and stylish nook:

Keep it clean and organized

Rid your reading corner of any distractions like gadgets, children's toys, and work.

Work with a few furniture pieces

Add an armchair, chaise lounge, or daybed (if your space permits) where you can sit comfortably while reading. Add a throw, a blanket, or a couple of pillows to make it even more relaxing.

Invest in proper lighting

Place a lamp next to it and a small table to hold your evening tea.

Arrange your books accordingly

Keep your books in place by stacking all the books you want to read on the floor and on the table. You can also keep in a basket or on a mini bookshelf.

RL Tip: If you want to set the mood of your reading nook, you can also have some ambient music playing in the background via a wireless speaker or dock.
