To maximize the space, the owner and the architects chose to divide the area into different functions anchored in one piece

This apartment owned by Eric Schneider used to be an open rectangular space. With the help of architects Michael Chen and Kari Anderson of Normal Projects, he was able make the most of the space by "keeping" four rooms inside a huge cabinet. The cabinet stores the shelves, the walls, the tables, and the closets that make up the entire apartment.
