  • Glue gun

  • Choose whether you want a succulent with rounded or pointed leaves.
  • Cut the style of leaves that you want in three sizes: small, medium, or large. You may also print this template to guide you.
  • Next, cut a narrow slit in the middle of each leaf. Fix the leaves, with the cut sides overlapping each other. Secure the setup using a glue gun. This gives the leaves an elevated look as seen in the photo. (Note: The smaller the leaves, the higher the overlap.)
  • Trim the excess parts then start assembling them together. Make sure you place the largest leaves first. Secure it using the glue.
  • Repeat the process for the medium and small leaves to form a cup shape.
  • Once you’re done with the paper succulent, stick it to your planter using a glue gun.
