Ocean Blue

Create a dry "aquarium" by arranging assorted shells inside a see-through container. Make sure they're not too cramped to show off their forms. Beside it, line three or four small tinted bowls or vases. Fill them with pebbles or coarse sands and erect white candles in the middle. You might want to use a floral frog to ensure the candles won't topple over.

  • small punch bowl
  • variety of real or faux seashells
  • simple white candles
  • pebbles
  • coarse sand
Tea Party

Raid your own cupboard-or your tita's for some teacups and saucers then arrange them harmoniously. Throw in a couple of pieces in white and choose blooms in the same color family to create a cohesive look.

  • saucers
  • cake stand
  • fresh flowers
Retro Classic

Choose five to six clear glasses and vessels then fill them with different kinds of beads, and sequins. You may fill each one with the same type and color (purple sequins) or combination (red seed beads and silver sequins). Leave some vessels empty. You may also throw in texture-rich decor like peacock feathers for contrast.

  • stemware
  • clear vases
  • sequins
  • beads
  • peacock feathers
  • glitters
Rustic Romance

In lieu of birds, tuck a bunch of flowers inside the bird cage. You can also make small floral arrangements by filling clear glasses with the blooms of your choice. Complete the table with twigs from your garden.

  • twigs from your backyard
  • terra cotta pot
  • fresh flowers
