Designer-Approved Ideas For Decorating All-White Interiors
A splash of color can go a long way

There's no questioning that a pristine, all-white interior is luxurious-looking—but it's also very tricky. Balance is key when working with monochrome spaces so as not to make it look boring. To help you add accent pieces to your space, interior designer Evangeline Lim gives advice on mixing different textures and materials. Check them out below:Â
Brass
You can't go wrong with a brass-framed mirror. Aside from adding an interesting touch to the space, it can also make any room seem larger. Don't limit yourself to mirror frames, though—you can also pick out tables or couches with small brass accents or details on its legs or base.
Suede
All-white interiors benefit from highly tactile surfaces for depth. Use real or faux suede as an upholstery fabric to achieve that luxe feel—you can use it on accent chairs, or even on throws over your couch to give your space a high-end look.Â
Faux Fur
We'll let you in on a secret—when it comes to styling, faux fur makes everything better. A couch with faux fur pillows mixed with plain ones is instant magic—make sure to throw in a good mix in yours for a unique look.Â
Flowers
One can never go wrong with a couple of blooms here and there. Choose white or off-wite flowers (like potted orchids, for example) that blend in with the space.Â
