Decor Hack of the Day: No-Sew Throw Pillows

Update your pillows with this fast and furious wraparound trick!


This will take: 5 minutes or less

Cost: FREE


  • Throw pillow
  • Shawl (get one that’s bigger than the pillow 5” or more all around)

How To:
  1. Lay your shawl flat and place the pillow in the middle. This side will be the back of the throw pillow.
  2. Grab both ends of the shawl and cross them over the pillow. Pull the ends to the front as if you’re tying a ribbon around a gift.
  3. Tie a knot at the center. Do a double knot if the length of the shawl permits.

Real Tip: Use small blankets if you don't have a shawl big enough for your pillows, or tie together two shawls for contrasting color and pattern.
