Christmas Decor Ideas For Small Spaces

None of these require a six-foot tall tree!

A small space is not an excuse for you to forego Christmas decorating. A bit of sparkle and cheer can create magic and transform your home. Make the most of the season, spread the love, and enjoy a fun time with the family with these ideas:

For a no-fuss display, simply put up your favorite memories on the wall along with a few pine branches. It may be simple, but it's heartfelt and meaningful for the guests to look at.

RL Tip:
Use washi tape to put up the branches to prevent paint from chipping off.

When it comes to Christmas decorations, it's all about the details. If you can only spare two items for decor, make sure it's something unforgettable or a reference to a popular classic like this The Elf on the Shelf display.

If you have very limited room, try setting up a Christmas corner and nothing else—a tiny tree and a gift tray are enough to make you feel the spirit of the season.

If you have an extra room to spare, your corner can take up floor space, too. Add larger gifts, giant stuffed toys, lights, and other decor pieces for a setup that kids and the young at heart would appreciate.

If all else fails, you can always go with typography. Simply add a framed Christmas greeting as part of your usual display for a dash of holiday spirit in your home. You can also switch up table runners or drapes into pieces in festive colors for a nice touch.
