8 Ways To Use The Color Ultra Violet At Home

Pantone’s Color of the Year for 2018 was quite a surprise for some. Ultra Violet—a grayish-tinged deep purple—calls to mind grape juice, purple yam (“u-ve”), and Prince. And it is a rather strong color that could hardly be qualified as a neutral.
But surprise again, the purple hue has the versatility to be paired with medium and light grays, camels and beiges, sage green, and even pastels. While not many of us would be brave enough to paint an entire room in Ultra Violet (it could be done), we can give our homes a quick update with a furniture piece or accent in this trendy color.
