After his much talked about fight with Australian boxer Jeff Horn, many people are wondering about senator Manny Pacquiao’s next move. Will he go for a rematch or will he finally hang those boxing gloves for good? As we wait for the official announcement, let’s take a trip down memory lane and revisit his second mansion in General Santos City.

The sprawling property serves as home not just to the growing Pacquiao brood, but to Manny’s friends and supporters as well. Defined by clean lines and a streamlined look, the house features a calming outdoor area, pocket gardens, a covered basketball court, and a separate structure meant for meetings and small gatherings. Here are eight more things you need to know about this famous house, also called as Mansion 2 by neighbors and friends:

1. The spacious living area highlights Eero Saarinen's Womb chairs

Just like the other properties they own, the house features a high ceiling and a lovely staircase that leads to the bedrooms. In the Mansion 2's living area, an interplay of yellow and red can be seen. The lady of the house opted for modern pieces that go well with the home's overall look. These essentials look stunning—with the textured wall making it extra interesting.

Paired with yellow upholstered armchairs, the famous red Womb chairs by Eero Saarinen stand out. Known for its shape and the comfort it gives, the Womb chair seems to invite anyone to take a break and lounge for hours. The iconic piece can complete any space with a modern and contemporary theme.

2. The well-equipped kitchen in the main house is meant for preparing the family's meals only

The cooking area meant for the family's needs has an island/breakfast nook to make meal preparation easier. The addition of sleek chairs makes it ideal for quick meals, too.

However, given Manny's staff and security, meals need to be prepared in batches. A separate kitchen found in another building in the compound is meant for this purpose.

3. Found inside the property is the Bulwagan, a structure that looks like a mini home

From the outside, the Bulwagan looks compact—but wait until you see the surprise it holds inside. It houses Manny's office, a couple of lounge areas, and even a billiards room!

Adding to the spacious look are the cove lights and high ceiling. Aside from the inviting lounge areas, the Bulwagan also has a dining area that can seat around 14 people comfortably. The senator opted to build the structure to serve as the special place where he can receive and entertain guests and friends. Since it's separate from the main house, he and his family can still savor some privacy.

4. The property is surrounded by pocket gardens

Aside from enjoying the home's cozy interiors, Pacman's family and friends can relish a few minutes of peace outside. Zen-inspired pocket gardens are found in different corners—giving the homeowners a calming spots where they can take a break and meditate.

Manny's landscape artist chose to complete these green corners with bamboos, bonsai trees, and potted dwarf plants. The overall look of the gardens works well with the home's contemporary look.

5. The lanai showcases Kenneth Cobonpue's Dragnet Lounge Chairs

While waiting for the senator, guests and members of the security team stay in the lanai. To make it extra comfortable, it features tropical-inspired pieces, patterned ottomans, and fluffy pillows. The stars of this area are Kenneth Cobonpue's Dragnet Lounge Chairs.

Inspired by fishermen's nets, the Dragnet Lounge Chair has a very distinct and impressive latticework. It features fabric twisted and wrapped around the stainless steel frame.

6. The swimming pool is surrounded by greenery and there's a cabana for lounging, too

While the other Pacquiao mansion has a boxing glove-shaped swimming pool, this house highlights a regular, rectangular pool. Surrounded by coconut trees and plants, it's a welcome respite during hot days. Aside from taking a dip, the family can also set up picnic mats on the grass and soak up some sun.

Those who want to spend some quiet time while admiring the outdoors can relax on the white outdoor chairs or enjoy some refreshments at the cabana.

7. There is a covered basketball court within the property where family events are also held

It's no secret that Manny plays and enjoys basketball, too! The covered court in the property houses the needed sports equipment for other activities like volleyball, badminton, tennis, and boxing. When there are birthdays and special occasions, there's no need to rent a venue! The court can be transformed into a spacious events place—where family and friends can gather and have a good time.

8. A part of the outdoor area serves as a playground

Another proof that the property has a vast outdoor area is this colorful and charming playground for the champ's little princesses. Though barely used by the young ladies, it's still complete with must-haves that will ensure a fun playtime like plastic slides, a tiny house, and a swing set, too.
