Leave sweet treats for sweet dreams

Place chocolate on top of their pillows like they do in most hotels. Your guests will appreciate the little gesture!

Prepare a handy box or caddy

If in case the room does not have its own bathroom, make it easier for you guests to carry toiletries by having a special "Toiletries-on-the-Go" kit. It would also be a good idea to give them their own set of towels to use during their stay.

Up the ante of the hotel-like experience with hotel toiletries

When you travel, take home any unused sample-size toiletries from the hotels you stay in. They’ll be enough for your guests and you won’t have to open up new bottles of shampoo and conditioner or those big bars of soap.

Prepare slippers

The one thing people almost always forget to bring with them when traveling are slippers. Make sure your guests won’t need to buy new ones by giving them a fresh pair.

Make room for their stuff

Clear out storage space and give your guests space for their clothes so they won’t be living out of their suitcase. You can even add labels to the cabinets and drawers with storage suggestions.

Leave a list of important numbers

You may not always have time to be with your guests during their stay so make sure you leave them a list of important numbers so they can reach you when they need to. Include numbers for taxi companies and food delivery in case they want to go out or eat in. You can even save these numbers in an extra mobile phone and lend it to them to use. It's like having a hotel directory, don't you agree?
