Budget is always an important consideration when planning for home projects. Whether it's a simple room update or a mini makeover, keeping costs low while ensuring a quality output is a must.

If you're planning to give your bathroom a new look, there's a lot that you can do without spending much. Here are five styling ideas that you can do to spruce up your space.

Keep these tips in mind:

Display artwork

If your bathroom is well-ventilated, showcase a dramatic piece of art that will instantly become a point of interest. Just make sure to remove the painting every time you clean the space to protect it from moisture.

Place toiletries in a tray

Prepare a hotel-like pampering setup by displaying the bath sets, soaps, and free samples of lotions and perfume on a tray. You can also decorate the tray by painting over it or updating its look using washi tape.

Add an elegant touch

A Pinoy bathroom wouldn't be complete without a dipper or tabo. Instead of hanging it on a hook or leaving it on the floor, you may raise it on a pretty pedestal like an oriental ceramic elephant or a ceramic stool.

Add a stylish rug

Create an illusion of bigger space by placing a large rug in the middle of the room. It will make the bathroom look bigger, while serving as a unique accent piece.

Use scented candles

If you like scented candles, use them in your bathroom to remove bad smells. You can even place them in unique holders such as mason jars or shells to turn them into decorative pieces.
