5 Ways To Decorate With Metallics

Add a little sparkle to your space with these styling tricks

Sometimes, when it comes to styling spaces, all you need is a soft glimmer from a metallic piece to complete your decor. Too much glitter, on the other hand, can make your home look like a giant disco ball. No need to worry, we're here to help you strike the perfect balance. Here are a few ideas that will push you to go for the gold (or silver):

For a streamlined display, pick your favorite shining shade and match your console table with the decor pieces. You can even go as far as hanging a statement mirror (as seen in photo) to tie everything together.

You can even use metallics in the bedroom to add pizzazz to your sleeping space. Trade in your usual accent pillows for cases that have a hint of glitter and pair it with similar-colored drapes for a glamorous vibe.

Incorporating gold into your T&B decor can be as simple as changing your fixtures into more luxurious pieces. This makes bath time a more enjoyable experience, too!

RL Tip: Find similar pieces at the Grohe showroom located at Unit 15-D, 15th Floor, Citibank Tower, Valero Street, Salcedo Village, Makati City.

Make your headboard extra classy by lacing the sides with metallic borders. Consider doing the same with your bedside table drawers for a bedroom fit for a princess.

If you aren't ready to go all out with shimmering decor, you can take baby steps by changing small items in your home with metallic pieces. Try a silver metallic tray for hand towels or a marble-inspired pump bottle for soap in your bathroom.

RL Tip: Find similar pieces at H&M Home, Robinsons Magnolia, Quezon City.
