5 Ways To Bring Nature Into Your Home

You can't go wrong with an indoor garden

If you've been living in the city your whole life or even just for a few years, you would probably agree when we say that trying to catch a breath of fresh air amidst the polluted streets of Metro Manila is almost impossible. The solution? Building an indoor garden that can serve as your personal sanctuary. To inspire you, we've put together five green corners we loved from PSID Evolution! Check them out below:

If your home decor uses a lot of wood or a monochromatic palette, you can balance out the look with a hint of green. A built-in wall garden would look great on a bare wall! Having it carved into the partition will make it look like it's naturally a part of your home and it can help you avoid the mess during maintenance.

Tired of the usual painted, pop-of-color accent wall? Use plants instead! Consider using crawling varieties such as ivy, sweet peas, black-eyed susan, morning glory, and nasturtiums so it can cover huge surfaces.

Alternatively, you can use moss tiles if you want something that's low-maintenance. Aside from being aesthetically pleasing, these green panels don't need watering, trimming, or sunlight. It can also purify the air and get rid of odors to keep the room smelling fresh!

If you don't like the hassle of using pots and planters, consider putting up a terrarium wall for a streamlined indoor garden. You can even put together different dish gardens in each cube for an interesting display.

Who says you can't combine mood lighting with green wonders? For a cozy ambiance in your lanai or patio, line your plant boxes with outdoor lights to make them stand out.
