Since the flat lay is popular these days, you might want join the party and up your #feedgoals game. No need to worry about how to accomplish this feat as aside from a few simple hacks, you can take inspiration from the posts of some local celebrities. Group your items wisely

Planning to take a photo of different items? Make sure that the colors go well together. You can also use neutral-colored props to make the colors pop.

Choose an interesting background

It's not enough that you place your items on a flat surface! Experiment with fun and textured backgrounds. Take your cue from Nadine Lustre who chose white fur as the perfect backdrop for reading essentials.

Showcase your favorites

Doting mom Andi Manzano loves posting photos of her cute baby Olivia and her essentials too! When it comes to choosing which ones to include in your flat lay, start with the things you love. Do you have a current read that you'd love to share with friends? Look around your room and start from there.

Use your essentials as props

Do you own pencils in pastel hues or books with interesting designs? Maximize these! Model and blogger Kim Jones gave us a stunning sneak peek of her workspace by capturing it one lovely photo. You can also use fresh blooms to liven up the look.

Think outside the box
