5 Must-Do Christmas Table Setting Ideas

Style your table for the occasion with the help of these tips

Are you already preparing your list of recipes to prepare for Noche Buena? If you are hosting parties this year, you need to consider the style of your dining table, too! Aside from coming up with sweet and charming centerpieces, you also need to think about the plates to be used and the overall theme that you will follow this year.

When it comes to setting up the table for dinner or lunch, keep in mind that you can be creative! Feel free to experiment with any of these ideas:

Cute and Crafty

For a laid-back party, you may choose to hold the get-together outdoors. Prepare a low table and a couple of stools. Keep the atmosphere light by using Manila paper as tablecloth. Place pens and markers in mason jars so that your friends can doodle and draw while waiting for the food to be served.

Complete the look with colorful straws and printed table napkins. You can even hold a simple craft session before or after the event.

For the young and young at heart

Hosting a kiddie party for your kids? Fix the plates and add embellishments so that it resembles a snowman! You can also use a white tablecloth with snowflake prints to complete the look.

Simple and classic

For a casual lunch or dinner with relatives, you may want to style a classic table with recycled mason jars as part of your centerpiece. Line them up on the table and fill it with Christmas balls, pine cones, and even scented candles.

Warm and rustic

To achieve a rustic style, you can add a few plants and wooden touches to complete the table setting. Arrange fruits, pine cones, candles, a few decor pieces on a scrap fabric as part of your centerpiece.

Simple yet luxurious

A black-and-white theme never goes out of style. While some may think these colors are too unusual for Christmas, you can make it work by adding silver and gold Christmas balls, your finest dinnerware, and a few cutouts of stars and snowflakes.
