5 Bedrooms You’d Love to Sleep In

Fluff the pillows and ready the sheets for a one-of-a-kind slumber in any of these spaces

What completes a perfect slumber? Comfy pillows, crisp sheets, and a relaxing ambience that’s meant for rest and relaxation. Keeping the bedroom clean and organized will surely help you get a good night’s sleep but having the right atmosphere counts, too!

If you’re thinking of giving your personal haven a new look, here are five bedrooms with distinct designs that may just inspire you.

A rustic, urban vibe

In this three-bedroom condo, the owners wanted a home that feels lived in and quirky. With the help of the Heima team led by creative director/interior designer Rossy Yabut-Rojales, the 97sqm space was transformed into a home that the couple can truly call their own.

The bedroom gives off an industrial and quirky vibe with its unique brick wall. The wall adds texture and personality to the room while the wall mirror behind the headboard enlarges the space.

To keep the room clutter-free, flat panels are attached to the walls to hold various items like books, toys, magazines, and other knickknacks. The slim layered shoe rack doesn’t take up too much space while keeping trusty pairs organized.

Simple and airy

Radio DJ Joe D’ Mango, also known as Architect Rolando Sulit, turned a simple remodeling job into a total renovation for his home. The result is a breezy and beautiful home that’s spacious – complete with white walls and stained furniture.

The master bedroom is relaxing in its simplicity. The picture windows let natural light in while well-selected pieces lend a functional vibe to the space. Plants add a refreshing touch as well.

Blue and calming

This cozy condo showcases custom-made pieces and vibrant pops of color. The living area has velvet and canvas throw pillows while one wouldn’t miss the red-orange curtains made out of Taffy fabric.

According to color psychology, blue is perfect for the bedroom because it gives a cool and calming effect. This bedroom makes you want to plop down and go straight to sleep. The owner decided not to add anything else in the space so nothing can distract her from relaxing.

The bed is covered with a 500-thread-count Egyptian cotton sheets and has goose down pillows, too.

Serene space

This bungalow highlights bold colors in each room to reflect the mood for the space – the living and dining areas are painted bright yellow for happiness, the study and kids’ room in blue-green for focus and relaxation, and the master bedroom in dark blue that’s easy on the eyes.

Who wouldn’t want to stay in a room with a hammock? If you don’t want to sleep on the bed, you may simply lounge in the hammock with a good book.

This house designed by Architect Francisco "Bobby" Manosa and his children highlights Pinoy elements and tropical-inspired details. In the den, the signature Manosa woven-mat high ceiling is seen.

The master bedroom is bathed in natural light. To complete the relaxing feel, his-and-hers La-Z Boy recliners were added to the space. The gray one is a reupholstered old piece from the owners' Baguio home.
