5 Beautiful Kitchen Floor Ideas

We're pretty sure you'd love to have these at home, too

There are some people who like sprucing up their kitchen as they would their living area; they fill it with decor pieces and artwork that can be seen in every nook. However, there are others who like to keep their cooking corners basic and functional. If you are one of those folks, you can keep your space from looking bland by dressing up the floors—here are some ideas you can try:

For an instant style statement, consider using the same hue on the floors and your countertop or even your cooking range (as seen in photo). Although the room is free from accessories, a matching ensemble gives the impression that the space is put together.

If you'd like something more subtle, adding a little bit of patterned tile at the center of hardwood floors can give you the effect of having an area rug without the hassle of cleaning carpet.

You can't go wrong with marble on marble! Aside from making your space look extra fine and elegant, it makes everything look streamlined with the continuous pattern found in the room.

Feeling a little more playful? Mismatched tiles are the answer. If you're set on sticking to a minimalist theme, you can always go with simple black and white prints.

Rainbow-colored flooring is the best way to wake up an all-white cooking corner! Just make sure to clean it regularly to keep it bright and vibrant.
