What is your style?
Your home’s style should be a reflection of your own favorite things. You don’t want to place items just because they are trendy or uso. “Experiment with a lot of things, then learn what works for you and what doesn’t. When you arrive at that, that’s when you actually learn your personal style,” shares creative director Vince Uy.
Showcase your preferences
When it comes to your wardrobe, what are your usual picks? Do you enjoy floral prints or plain dark hues? Translate them into how you choose accessories for your space! You may pick decor and accents with bold prints or pieces in dark neutral shades.
Study the patterns of your clothes and look for similar items when you go furniture shopping. Do you love wearing jeans? Why not experiment with denim as pillow covers? There are different possibilities that you can explore.
The texture of a piece of clothing can add interest to an outfit as well as to a room. Linen cloth and wooden details from accessories can be considered as accents for the living or dining areas.
