4 Ways to Prep the Bathroom for the Holidays

Achieve a cheerful vibe even in your private space

During the holidays, since we are expecting a lot of guests and relatives at home, we always make sure that the entire space is clean, orderly, and inviting. Aside from making sure that your guests are at home, you also need to prepare the bathroom as it will be one of the most-used areas during parties and get-togethers.

If you have time to spare during the coming break, you may want to start thinking of ideas on how you can style the bathroom according to the season. Here are four ideas to get you started:

Choose a Christmas scent

You may choose to give your favorite citrus scent a break and opt for scents that evoke warmth like chestnut or cinnamon. If these aren't available, you can always go for peppermint and vanilla. You can also craft your own scents using essential oils and potpourri.

Accessorize with colors

A touch of color in the bathroom won't hurt. Bring out colorful hand and face towels that your guests can use. Your bath mats and rugs can be in red or green, too! Spruce up the countertop by adding a tray filled with candles, pine cones, a few Christmas balls, and faux flowers.

Update your walls

Make your bathroom a little bit more festive by hanging Christmas decor on a blank wall. Consider displaying mini wreaths and DIY ornaments.

Conceal your clutter

Keep your toiletries and personal essentials under the sink! Place them in woven baskets and neatly stack them under the sink. You can also add a small shelf where you can keep extra toilet paper, towels, and soap.
