4 Ways to Achieve a Vintage Glam Style at Home

If you love collecting antique pieces with a sophisticated feel, you may want to consider a vintage glam style for your home. It celebrates the freedom of mixing various design styles in one room while maintaining an elegant and polished feel. Make it work with the help of these tips:

Create contrast

The beauty of having a vintage glam style is that it allows you to work with different elegant patterns and textures. You can create contrast using your furniture and accessories. Consider pairing an animal print rug with a printed pillow. Just make sure that both pieces have the same color scheme.

Experiment with layering

It’s always good to layer materials, shapes, and textures. Pair matte materials with shiny ones then tie the look together with a neutral color scheme. When styling a vignette, you can place tall items at the back so you can highlight the other decor pieces. You may stick to an odd number of items per table.
