Some say that dressing up a home is a never-ending process—we continue to add and remove pieces depending on the style we want to go for. While there's nothing wrong with focusing on the main spaces such as the living area or lanai, there are instances when we fail to take into account the awkward parts of the home that also need a design upgrade. To help you out, we've listed down four important corners that you need to jazz up right away.

1. The windowsill

Even the tiniest of ledges can be a canvas for a fun display. For starters, you can arrange a group of sun-loving plants or put up your collection of travel mugs.

2. The space above kitchen cabinets

This neglected spot is an underrated space for a classic vignette or even storage for items that are cluttering the counter. For a classic display, line up a few elegant serving dishes or expensive China that you only use on special holidays.

3. Old drawers

Who says storage has to be boring? Grab a roll of contact paper and give life to a tired dresser. This is a great way to add color to your home office, too!

4. The legs of your furniture

If you're looking for an unexpected way to add a pop of color to your space, paint-dipped stools are the way to go! If color-blocked stools are too mainstream for your taste, consider going for a bigger item such as a console table.
