5 Ideas To Transform Your Roof Deck Into A Serene Spot
Everyone loves a good view of the city
In cities where space is a luxury, a roof deck is like a surprise "present" when found in a home. Penthouse units or condo units in a terraced building are usually lucky to have roof decks. If you happen to have one, make the most of it by turning it into a functional space. Here are some ideas to consider:Â

Create your own city oasis with a potted garden; small trees are also welcome, as long as they fit in the service elevator. Make sure you have proper drainage (and a faucet) in the area for when you water the plants.

Condo units have limited floor areas, and a roof deck is a wonderful opportunity to create an extra "room," be it a sitting or lounging area—maybe even an al fresco dining space. Just remember to use weatherproof furniture and accessories to protect your things from different elements.Â

3. A smoker's lounge and barÂ
