Make the most of the weekend with these cute projects

With six free days at home, we're sure that your kids are looking for something cool and exciting activities to do. Here are four projects that will surely interest them:

Popsicle stick decor

Personalize your tree with ornaments that your kids crafted. Prepare popsicle sticks, glue, ribbons, and markers. Guide your kids in turning the sticks into mini trees and other shapes. Once done, you can also paint them in your preferred colors. After you've worked on the decorations, ask your kids to hang them on the tree.

Colorful angels

Repurpose a few sheets of art and construction paper by turning them into angel decor. Work with different colors for a more playful vibe. Guide your kids in tracing and cutting the templates and let them see how you construct each. Prepare strings or ribbons that you can use to hang the finished pieces.

Christmas loot bag

If you are giving away cookies, brownies, and other sweet treats—you can create a special holiday loot bag where you can place all of these. You can ask your kids to spruce up a plain brown bag with stickers or ask them to draw a tree or snowman.

Paper plate Christmas Tree

Do you need a few wall accents just in time for Christmas? Turn ordinary paper plates into colorful trees! Prepare markers, stickers, crayons, and cutouts of stars and shapes. Ask your kids to decorate the trees with embellishments that they like.

You can display the finished trees in the living area, foyer, and your kids' bedrooms, too!
