Designer pieces are great investment pieces. They are one-of-a-kind, are as beautiful as works of art, and boast unparalleled quality and craftsmanship. If you have one at home, you’d surely love to showcase it for everyone to admire and use. Here are some ways on how you can let your designer piece shine in your own space:

1. Make it a prelude to your stylish home.

Aside from the 1960s elements seen by the front door of this house in Malabon, the Francesca Cabinet by Ito Kish gives a peek of the homeowners’ design sensibilities. Complement it with a few, simple accessories so the spotlight won’t be stolen from the piece.

2. Use a designer piece to break monotony in a space.

Designer pieces are not synonymous to stiff and formal. They can also be playful, like the Little People Chandelier by Kenneth Cobonpue illuminating this dining area. Meanwhile, Kenneth Cobonpue’s Manolo Chairs at the kabisera add variety to the seating pieces in the space.

3. Display them as functional décor.

Designer pieces, after all, serve a purpose—they’re not just things you look at. In this stairwell, a bendable wire-and-paper lamp from Habi and Kenneth Cobonpue’s Kris Kross Wall Lamps illuminate the space and serve as statement pieces.
