Egg Carton Bowls

Turn  egg cartons into a beautiful storage for fruits and other knickknacks using a paper mache technique. Paint them according to the theme of your home.  You can place them on top of the table or cupboard for easy access.

Concrete Planters

The unused concrete blocks in your backyard can be unappealing to look at. Try painting them and arranging them like blocks for a unique touch. Place your clay pots inside and you're done!

Bug-Repellant Jar

During this season, the nasty mosquitoes are always out to play. To combat them, find rustic mason jars and fill them up with mint, lemon, and rosemary. Add water and citronella oil, then finish off with a candle. Place your jars near windows to keep those bugs from coming inside.
