Xian Lim Furnished His Home With an Elevator for His Grandmother
"I now have peace of mind knowing that the seniors in my home is safer with this lift."
Xian Lim, an avowed lola's boy, will do everything he can to make his grandmother's life easier.
In December 2020, he had an elevator installed in his home for the benefit of his grandparents and mom Mary Anne.

Xian uploaded a video of his Lola Leonie riding an elevator and appreciating the lift he had gifted her with. In the caption, Xian said he had the elevator installed because his 87-year-old lola insisted on going up and down the stairs of their multi-level home.
He wrote, "Throughout the course of the pandemic (3 month lockdown), I got to spend time with @mommymaryanne, my lola and lolo and realized how much family time is of huge importance... Sometimes we get too caught up in so much work and we forget what truly matters most.Â
"My grandma chose the room downstairs because she literaly has hundreds of cross-stitch collection and she wants it all by her side. She goes up and down the stairs and ayaw magpapigil...even if I had set up her own room upstairs.
"A few months have passed and I finally decided to acquire this lift and I'm just so amazed with the final product.
Xian said he will be sharing in his vlog how the elevator was set up in his home. He continued, "I'll post a vlog on the process of setting this whole lift up from occular, to unboxing, up 'til construction!"
But more than anything else, he is just happy to see his grandmother go up and down with ease. "I can't wait for all you guys to see this..this is truly a happy moment for me... I now have peace of mind knowing that the seniors in my home is safer with this lift."
In an emotional video on Instagram, Xian opened up about his Lola Leonie's bout with breast cancer, revealing she had undergone a mastectomy.

She has since recovered from her surgery, and, for Xian, the experience made him value quality time with his loved ones.Â
Xian said, "I guess it’s more for people to take a moment and enjoy the moments you have with family and friends. So, basically, that’s it. If you have a moment of your time right now, just go to your mom, dad, your, grandpa, your lola, and say, ‘I love you’ to them.
"Enjoy them while they're around."
