This Couple Shares How They Went DIY With Their Cozy, Blush Pink Home

Soy and Crissy Valiente prove that hard work (and a lot of patience and paint) can help you upgrade your space and call it your own.

Crissy and Soy Valiente live in a cozy nook beside the preschool that Crissy's family owns in Quezon City. While it's a relatively small space, the couple managed to turn it into a DIY haven with interesting street finds and refurbished furniture, all esconed in a bright space of blush pink and chocolate brown.

"For me, personally, it's more of an outlet I guess," shares Crissy. "You get to express yourself, and you get the satisfaction of having something that was in disrepair or was pretty much an eyesore to begin with and then you end up with something that 'sparks joy.'"
