Aside from the bedroom, the bathroom is considered as a refuge for relaxation by many homeowners. From long, hot showers to mani-pedi sessions and aromatherapy—we do all our primping and pampering in our T&B so it is important that we keep it as Zen as possible. To help you do just that, here are some ideas you can try:

Even an industrial bathroom can have a spa-like feel with a few wooden touches. Consider changing the standard door and cabinets into lightwash teak to add warmth into the room.

Pay attention to the little details. Instead of the usual rack, set up a nook with rolled-up towels and silk bathrobes to make your T&B feel like a hotel sauna. It can be a good idea to light a lavender-scented candle to keep the space smelling fresh, too!

If you want to achieve the vibe of a tropical-themed spa, floral wallpaper might just do the trick. As an added bonus, it brightens up the bathroom, too!

Contrary to popular belief, dark colors can also be soothing. Complement moody tiles with warm lighting to set a calming vibe that can almost lull you to sleep.
