5 Photos That Prove No Space Is Too Small For A Lovely Lanai

Turn your balcony into a cozy nook for every mood

Who says you need a lot of floor space to make a big impact? Even if your outdoor area is on the small side, that doesn't mean you can't transform it into a place meant for relaxation and chilling out. Heed these design tips and style your space:

If your balcony is too tight for seating and other furniture, put a fitted a cushion on the floor (you can use a custom-made mattress to make sure it fits, too!), add a few pillows, and you’ve got the perfect place to curl up on during lazy Sunday afternoons.

For those who are living in high-rise homes, consider styling a more homey nook in contrast with the surrounding buildings. Try adding a faux turf and a simple setup featuring a bright yellow chair and a rattan ottoman where you can enjoy a cold beer after a long day outside.

Add character to a plain area with a white loveseat and colorful accessories. Complete your outdoor nook with budget-friendly finds so you can easily replace them in case it gets wet from the rain.

No space for a full garden? No problem. Grow it vertically instead. Just add a few shelves and some planters, and you've got your own green corner!

Doesn’t this special spot look like the best place to drink your morning coffee? If you can only add one piece of furniture in your lanai, make it a lounge chair and spend hours basking in the sun.
