Easy to style around and nearly impossible to look outdated, white might seem like an obvious and boring choice. However, this non-color has a full spectrum of options up its sleeve—feel free to choose from cream, light khaki, gray-white or anything in between.

If you want to move a little farther away from pale neutrals, gray might be a good color choice that you won’t get tired of too quickly. As a halfway tone between black and white, it is less prone to looking bland but just as easy to match with a variety of decor styles.
