Let these ideas show you how!

Being practical homeowners, we are always on the lookout for ways to improve our space! Whether it's a new small tabletop decor or a huge investment piece, there's always something that we can do to change the look of our interiors.

If you're seriously considering a new look for your space, here are are five foolproof steps to guide you:

Use a painting or artwork

If a room is lacking furniture and it looks too sparse, add a large abstract painting to break a huge expanse of wall and create a point of interest.

Hide the unsightly

A bulky TV may look distracting and unattractive in a space. Conceal it with a clean-lined armoire with brass frames! You may also use wooden panels to hide your set.

Maximize shelves

Aside from hanging your prized works of art, why not put them on shelves? This will work best if you don't want to damage your walls while creating a focal point.

Go for glass doors

If you have a tropical theme at home, you can never go wrong with glass doors as these enclose a space and give privacy without making you feel constrained.

Add color to your kitchen

If your kitchen’s mostly white, add a bit of color in a fun way by using stained glass window panel inserts. Try colored sampaguita glass panels (this can be bought at secondhand shops in Evangelista or Laong Laan) or even transparent colored stickers (available in hardware stores).
