5 Quick Tips for Kiddie Rooms

Keep your little one's space cozy and organized with these hints

We all know that safety is one of our topmost priorities at home. When it comes to working on the rooms of our kids, comfort and storage should also be on top of mind. Improve the special space of your kiddos with these easy must-dos:

Choose light-colored fabrics for your baby’s blanket, comforter, and pillowcases so you can easily spot dirt or small insects like ants.

Place a comfy chair near the crib so you can breastfeed your child. Place a table at the side where you can put baby bottles or even towels.

Maximize the available space. A growing child needs enough area to play! As much as possible, avoid bulky pieces of furniture.

Keep your little one’s toys in order. Segregate the toys accordingly: those that aren't used most of the time can be kept in stackable plastic boxes while his or her favorites can be placed in brightly colored catchalls that you can line up on the floor for easy access.

Decorate using simple, little toys that your baby can play with as he or she grows. Plush toys like small stuffed animals can do the trick since they don't have small hard parts that are hazardous.
