Keep these tips in mind:

Set a budget.

Don't buy on impulse and set a realistic budget. Before you head out to the store, do your research so you already have an idea about price range and the characteristics of each tile.

Showcase your style.

Let your bathroom showcase your overall home style. Choose a color and design that match your bathroom’s palette. For compact bathrooms, try purchasing neutral colored ones to create an illusion of bigger space.

RL Tip: You may also choose to make a statement by purchasing quirky, vibrant tiles that can serve as accents to your space.

Check the features.

Durability is one of the most important factors that you need to consider. It’s good to invest on quality tiles so that can last long. When you do your research, make sure you compare different brands, too. Take note of the prices and features of each.

RL Tip: Porcelain tiles can work well in an outdoor poolside bathroom because it can withstand heavy abrasion.

Ask for advice.

Don’t be afraid to ask help from a handyman or sales assistant. They usually know which material works best in a bathroom. They may also have suggestions and ideas for your dream space.
