What can you do with a 24sqm homeThe Philippine School of Interior Design (PSID) graduating students explore the possibilities through Studio 24, an interior design exhibit with 24 different units that measure 24 square meters each.

One of the 24 spaces is a studio unit for Isabella, a 25 year-old Filipina-Italian socialite and lifestyle blogger. Here are the 5 things that caught our fancy in this bachelorette pad:

The Neo-Baroque Style

Graduating students Trish Jarque, Bea Limcaoco, Daniella Rodriguez, and Gladys Siao opted for a Neo-Baroque style for this bachelorette pad. The modern-meets-classic look is perfect for the young homeowner.

The Color Scheme

Inspired by Neo-Baroque style, the students chose crystal chandeliers, fully upholstered pieces, and ornate details.

To balance out the sweetness of these traditional elements, the students opted for a cool color palette of gray, blue, and white.

The Mini-Bedroom

We were impressed by how the students were able to set aside a certain space for sleeping and preparing! This elevated platform is furnished with a tufted headboard, gray-and-white drapes, and a daybed topped with different pillows.

Facing the daybed are two more pieces that also have a Neo-Baroque feel: a side chair and a console table used as a dresser.

The Damask-Print Divider

The elevated area is separated from the rest of the space with a clear divider covered with a barely-seen damask pattern. Damask print is often seen in most Neo-Baroque homes.

The Kitchen and Dining Area

On the other end of the room is a spacious kitchen and dining area! The white island serves three purposes: it separates the area from the rest of the space, it can be used as a place for preparing meals, and it can also be a breakfast nook and dining table.

Since the homeowner needs more storage options, the gray walls are lined with black shelves. These wall-mounted shelves are filled with glassware and other essentials.

Studio 24 will run from October 3 to 31, 2015 at the Ronac Lifestyle Center, Paseo de Magallanes, Makati City. Admission is free.
