About 200 kilometers or 4.5 hours drive from Manila, The Mango Grove at Bancal River sits in a 24-hectare property as you enter Iba, Zambales. 16.5 kilometers of the river runs through it—and out to the nearby West Philippine Sea. The property is rich with flora and fauna and after the 1991 Mount Pinatubo eruption, about 50 families were resettled there.

The two-storey villa that was renovated to be a guesthouse in order to augment the income of the residents features a mango orchard and a clean, flowing river—making it the perfect escape if you want to take a break from the frenetic city life.
