Coffee table

Coffee tables are low tables situated in front of a sofa or the center of any seating area for the purpose of serving. It is usually the same height or slightly lower than the seat height of the sofa.

Maximize your piece by using it to display select tabletop decor. You may also store magazines, albums, and other reading materials under it for an organized space.

Side table

Side tables flank either side of the sofa or the bed to provide easy access when reaching for  the lamp switch, telephone, reading materials or a glass of water.

Opt for a piece with numerous drawers so you can store personal essentials and other bedroom must-haves.

Console table

Console tables are intended to be placed against a wall or sometimes even attached to the wall with brackets. The narrow tables are perfect for stashing everyday items such as keys, mails or bills.

RL Tip: Place statement pieces such as mirrors, paintings, or a beautiful flower arrangement on top to make a welcoming tableau in your home.

Secretary desk

A secretary desk is like a compact home office that can house all office supplies and equipment which can easily be hidden when not in use. Its upper part can be used to display books while the lower part has a slanted hinged door that can be used for writing.

RL Tip: Got a blank corner at home? Turn it into a home office or study area. The secretary desk can also serve as "mailing station" where you can leave bills and messages.

Dressing table

Often referred to as vanity table, a dressing table is commonly seen in walk-in closets and bedrooms. It is a desk with drawers and mirrors used for applying makeup and putting on accessories. It may be situated near the window to let the natural light in or may be equipped with special lights to mimic natural light.
