Many of us look forward to the day when we can finally settle down and start a new life with the person that we love the most. We are excited to find someone that we can fall asleep next to every night and wake up next to every morning. We also dream about the thought of finding, making, and completing our home with our significant other.

This long-cherished dream has finally come true for the owners of this two-storey house. We love the vibrant colors and modern feel of the soon-to-be-newlyweds' haven. If you like this private sanctuary as much as we do, check out the five things that you can learn from this particular space:

Consider old pieces

If you are also about to embark on a new adventure with your better half or you are simply moving into a another home, you may want to examine your old furniture! Look for seats, tables, and other items that you can still use.

RL Tip: You can always paint, varnish, and reupholster the belongings that need a little more love and attention.

Don't be afraid of bold color

Since the homeowner's favorite color is blue, interior designer Mikki Alingarog filled this two-storey house with blue furniture and decor.

For example, for the dining area, she chose upholstered chairs with tufted details. The rich electric blue hue brightens up this special place for sharing meals and conversations.

Install mosaic tiles

How can you add sparkle and shine to your kitchen and dining area? Consider installing mosaic tiles! Mosaic tiles look attractive and interesting. More importantly, since mosaic tiles already come in pre-cut sheets, they are also fairly easy to install.

Display framed photos

Adorn one of your walls with pictures of your family, friends, and beautiful places that you have been to!

RL Tip: For a sophisticated feel, you can choose black frames and white matting.

Opt for built-in niches

If you are building or renovating your personal place, you may want to have built-in niches! Built-in niches can help you create a neat and organized space.

For this bathroom, the interior designer used these built-in shelves to store face, hand, and bath towels. There are also woven baskets for toiletries and bath products.
