Have you ever wondered what the home of a baker and cafe owner would look like? Many of us can imagine a charming cottage-inspired place filled with dainty touches — a haven as sweet as cakes, pies, and pastries! The townhouse of Larcy's Cupcakery and Cafe owner Larcy Diaz is the perfect example.

If you would like a similar look and feel for your own space, here are 5 ideas inspired by this family home:

Display flowers and leaves

How can you immediately brighten up your home? You can place flowers and leaves from your garden in clear mason jars, pickle bottles, and mayonnaise bottles.

Create a photo wall

You can print out family photos and frame them in black and white frames! For an unexpected look, consider using picture frames with different shapes and sizes.

RL Tip: Complete the photo wall with framed pictures of beautiful places that you have visited with your loved ones.

Pick white furniture and decor

How can you create a peaceful space for you and your family? You can invest in white furniture and decor! For this particular corner, the interior designer chose a white sofa, white stool, and white side table.

Choose unique lighting fixtures

If you think that a modern country style is too frilly or girly, you can purchase industrial-style lighting fixtures! For this dining area, the homeowner's daughter Micaela picked out these cool and stylish lights from Azcor.

Put up an accent wall

The interior designer defined the dining area with white subway tiles and slim wooden shelves. You may also want to create accent walls in the different areas of your own home.
