As homeowners, we all want our home to look stylish, cozy, and inviting. While you're still saving up for a major makeover, you can update the look of your space by simply adding one piece. You don't have to spend much as there are budget-friendly alternatives available in stores nowadays.

If your space is ready for a quick touch-up, here are pieces that you can always rely on:

Potted succulents last a long time compared to flower arrangements that may cost a lot and wither easily. Consider having succulents in different planters or a huge bowl with different kinds of plants. Your mini plants can liven up a dull kitchen while a huge planter can serve as a centerpiece in the living area or dining room.

Coffee table

Are you going for a modern minimalist style at home? You may invest in nesting tables or a table that can stand on its own as a work of art. This piece can be a focal point in the living area, and aside from serving as an accent, it can also be used to hold decor pieces and reading materials.

Fabric art

Do you have a plain wall in the dining area? Spruce it up! Aside from using artwork, you can also liven it up with framed fabric. Pick a colorful piece with a lively a pattern and stretch it across a 20”x20” wood frame. Secure the fabric by stapling it onto the wooden frame. Hang the piece once done.

In small spaces, it’s best to have an open layout so you can move around easily. If you feel like your floors are too bare, you can define the areas by adding a colorful rug that can anchor a space. Depending on the vibe and style that you want to achieve, you can also pick a piece with an interesting pattern.
