4 Easy Steps for a Custom-Made Plate
Spruce up any table in your home with this cool DIY piece
Did you know that disorganized tabletops can make your home look messy and cluttered? A dirty side table, coffee table, or even dining table can really leave a bad impression on family and friends alike. If you would like to instantly improve your personal space, you should consider tidying up your surfaces.
To help organize your tabletops, you can revamp an old wooden plate! This can be used to keep your keys, accessories, and other essentials in order.
Here are 4 steps that you can follow for your own stylish DIY item:
- Choose a wooden plate and wipe it clean.
- Paint your plate with a single coat of Nippon Paint — we used Satin Glo in Blue Success 5148 and Autumn Blaze 7083D. Let dry.
- Cover one portion of the plate with a sheet of newspaper and secure the sheet with masking tape. Spray over the exposed portion with gold spray paint.
- Once the paint is dry, carefully remove the newspaper sheet.
