Aside from the bedroom, the kitchen is one of the areas at home that can get really messy and disorganized. Just imagine the number of ingredients, condiments, plates, and utensils that you need to cram into drawers, cabinets, and shelves! Without a proper storage nook in place or an organizing trick to follow, it can be difficult to move around and work efficiently.

Take some time out to organize your kitchen tools and essentials with the help of a few storage ideas. Here are five kitchen spaces to inspire and guide you:

Who wouldn't love this pristine kitchen that's bathed in sunlight? Take inspiration from its overhead cabinets with glass doors. Inside the cabinets, you can have shelves–making organizing dinnerware and other items easier. Since you have glass doors, you can also find the things you need faster.

RL Tip: Consider transferring condiments and other food items into clear jars and containers to maintain the look.

How do you keep drawers organized? To maximize the space, avoid putting everything together in one drawer. Make the most of each by adding partitions that allow you to add more items and keep everything in place.

Let this photo serve as your peg: Buy drawer organizers and group similar items together. You can place these into the different compartments. Do this for utensils and even glasses.

Create a clean and streamlined look in your kitchen by following a color palette. White makes it easier to spot stains and dirt so you can keep the space neat. Like in this kitchen, you shouldn't limit yourself to just having cabinets and drawers. Make use of an awkward corner or niche by installing mini shelves. These shelves can be used to display decor pieces or jars of ingredients.

If you love collecting ceramic pieces, vintage dinnerware, and other similar items, you may want to display your prized pieces on an open shelf with multiple tiers. Keep those that you use often in accessible levels. Pieces that are not used daily and are reserved for special occasions can be placed on the topmost shelf.

A kitchen island brings advantages that you can put to good use. The storage nooks underneath can house pots, pans, and other cooking tools. You can also place the ingredients and sauces that you love to use on one tier so you can easily get these essentials when needed.

RL Tip: Got an unused space by the sink? Install an open shelf just above the faucet and use it to display decor pieces and framed recipes. You can also dedicate an area for more essentials and a few potted plants.
